SHOOTING WITH SPEAR THROWER : Learn to hunt like our ancestors
Prehistoric Men of course knew how to throw spears by hand ... but to better surprise the animals, with less risk and more power: they invented the spearthrower, a weapon which makes it possible to launch at double the distance by extending the lever of the arms.
An activity recommended from 5/6 years and for all audiences to learn how to use the spearthrower.

Is the park shaded ?
There are many shaded areas in the park. The picnic and entertainment areas are also shaded.

Is it possible to conduct the prehistoric workshops?
Most of the prehistoric workshops are distant from 3 to 5 minutes walking.
There is many paths through the park. The schedules take into account movements between 2 nearby activities. The 2 workshops furthest from each other are “pottery” and “fire” but you will not take more than 5 minutes by walking slowly with a young child.
