Self-guided tour of the Grottes du Cerdon: Explore at your own pace
Want to explore at your own pace? Spend more time at the site? Are the guided tour times inconvenient for your schedule? Is your child too young for a guided tour? Choose the self-guided tour.
Check the opening days and access times for the cave here.
Go to the site reception, where we will give you an access number and show you the way to the cave entrance (a 5-minute walk).
You will discover a unique landscape of stalactites and stalagmites, from the point where an ancient river disappears to the viewpoint overlooking Cerdon and its vineyards. The out-and-back hike to the viewpoint involves a significant elevation gain. Visitors decide at the last minute whether or not to do this part.
During the visit, children remain the responsibility of their parents/guardians. The cave is a fragile environment; please stay on the marked trail and do not touch the formations.
A day immersed in nature, between the underground world and relaxation in the park.
