Access to the Grottes du Cerdon
Important: From 1 September to 12 October 2026, the D1084 departmental road at the Col de Cerdon will be closed for roadworks.
If you are travelling from Lyon or Pont-d’Ain, please take the motorway towards Geneva and use Exit 8 – Hauteville / Saint-Martin-du-Fresne.
The Grottes du Cerdon are located just 10 minutes from the motorway exit, before the D1084 road closure.
Please note: Travelling via the motorway does not add any extra journey time from Pont-d’Ain.
A40 + A404: 10 min. Exit 8 Hauteville
A42 + A40: Exit 8 Hauteville – St Marin du Fresne
