From May 1st, discover our new activity: The Mineral River!
The Stone Seekers’ Workshop: a magical adventure along the water!
At the heart of our tourist site, in a peaceful natural setting, the Stone Seekers’ Workshop invites children aged 4 and up to enjoy a fun, immersive, and discovery-filled experience.
Set around a small, safe, purpose-built stream, young adventurers step into the shoes of real prospectors. Equipped with a sieve, a gold pan, and a shovel, they learn to search through sand, sort sediments, and carefully observe their finds. Excitement quickly builds as stones with surprising shapes and colors begin to appear.
Guided by a passionate instructor, children discover the essential techniques of mineral prospecting while having fun. The activity cleverly combines play and learning: each stone becomes an opportunity to learn more about nature, time, and rock formation. A discussion time allows them to understand the origin and unique features of their discoveries through simple, child-friendly explanations.
At the end of the workshop, the hardest part is choosing which stones to keep and take home as precious treasures.
Friendly, educational, and full of wonder, the Stone Seekers’ Workshop is offered as an optional activity in addition to the entrance ticket — perfect for sparking children’s curiosity, sharing quality family time, and taking home a tangible souvenir.
A simple and magical adventure where discovering nature becomes a game… and a treasure to keep.
